We have found it necessary to skip some of these due to ghosts, magic and other spooky things (my children are sensitive to that sort of thing!) These are the ones that we have read...

American Girl -- Kirsten

Oldest girl has been enjoying the American Girl series, we did not know about them sooner, though if I had it probably would have peaked her interest in reading alot sooner!! She has read the first 3 and is on the 4th now...This is another series that we are working on getting the older ones rather than getting the new ones.

The Boxcar Children by Gertrude Chandler Warner

This series has been a favorite by my 7 yr old...we have been told to read the first 19 books though, I don't know what happens to their books after that ;o)

Just in Case You Ever Wonder by Max Lucado

There is a whole series of those books, we enjoy those and have been able to pick up several of them here and there...they are pretty old and hard to get online, so I was only able to get one picture ;o) Some that we have gotten from the libary are:

What Are Seasons? by Chris Arventis
Why Does it Rain? by Chris Arventis
Why Does it Thunder and Lightning? by Chris Arventis

And of course we couldn't make it without some boyly reading material! These ones are all by Kay Barnes and are a part of her Big Series...I could not find pictures though! They are pretty large board books, cut out in the shape of what "vehicle" they are about...Titles are BIG TRACTOR, BIG BULLDOZER, and BIG FIRETRUCK...unsure if there are more, but these are the ones we were able to pick up at the library :o)

Who could blame her for loving it with all those yummy things to eat all over it, huh? lol :o)

Of course there were many more books that we enjoyed, I just have to remember to write them down if they are noteworthy ;o)
